Keepers of the Wild is Inviting YOU… FUN & Adventurous Parent(s) to give your children outdoor space, freedom and time to explore and learn our natural environment. Led by educator Jason Paquette along with his very own little keepers, will utilize play-based and inquiry-driven teaching and learning methods through “nature’s toys”. Inspired by an African proverb “It takes a village to raise a child” – Jason takes part of this shared responsibility and is calling for KEEPER’S OF THE WILD PARENTS & COMMUNITY to help influence our children to appreciate land-based entertainment by discovering loose, natural materials to support open-ended, creative play and learning togetherness in groups of families. (For ages 4 to 12 accompanied by Parent/Guardian)

Group will gather every TUESDAY 4PM-530PM on an ongoing basis and most of the meetings will take
place at our homestead property and training center located off Lumsden Rd in Blezard valley. This
Forest School event is being run on these days and timings as the educator (Jason Paquette) is leading
the activities & teachings and is including his two kids (son 4 years old & daughter 6 years old). This
after school program is meant to spend time in nature with our kids learning & teaching skills.
Some events will take place on crown land in the valley area also. Calendar and activity events will be
provided upon sign up, along with information related to joining our program.
This program is meant to build community amongst adults & youth as well. Please feel free to contact
us if you require more information.
