When it comes to bushcraft and outdoor skills it is really a journey of experience one must go through to truely learn...  TO LIVE IT !!  is the only real way to become a skilled bushcraft person.   You must spend the time out there to earn and gain knowledge.   Only by doing it and living it will you become better and learn all the fine intracacies of things.

Only by connecting with things will they surrender their answers.. Spending time with fire, plants, trees, shelters, ressources, animals, skills, nature ect...

The answers await those who are the seekers !

Guidance from "the keepers"  is a key factor in assisting you on your journey.   Even though "the keepers" never stop learning themselves, they must always help the seekers and other keepers!    The duty of the keepers is to pass their knowledge & guidance onto others!    TO BE KEEPERS OF KNOWLEDGE & CARE TAKERS OF THE WILD

BUSHCRAFT skills are meant to keep people safe and comfortable.   BushSkills is not about being "the one" or "the guru" of the skills... Its about applying knowledge and proven skills and passing the knowledge along to others.....NO ONE in modern times is "the one" as none of these skills are new !  Some people have mastered some of these skills but they never created them.   These skills have been around for a long time and have not been created by anyone from our time.

THEY ARE THE ORIGINAL KNOWLEDGES

TO KNOW what is around you and how to utilize it... the skills of how to do things and when to do things out there!  Key factors to being at home in the bush environment.   Come reconnect to the lost skills of the primitive human being.   In today's world people wanting to learn "survival skills" focus on the three main priorities ( Shelter, fire, water ).   This is meant to sustain you usually 48-72hrs until you are found by a search party.  We seek to educate people in a variety of skills used to live  and thrive on the land....Not survival but rather knowing how to live like our ancestors out on the land.   " BUSH SKILLS " consists of many different areas of learned skills such as:

  • natural ressource knowledge ( what's available and how to harvest and process for use )

  • wildlife knowledge ( animals and the ressource they can provide as well as knowing their behaviours and hidden language)
