Manitoulin Island Touring Weekend
 
This ticket admits one person and covers campsite at providence for 2 night stay.    Includes guided touring and activities and rental equipment etc...  See details attached
 
This guided tour runs from Friday night till Sunday late afternoon.  Guided group event will be from approximately 9am-6pm, Saturday and Sunday.   Participants will be responsible for transportation to meeting location and all the touring events in Manitoulin Island. All the activities will be run out of Providence Bay Park and all activities are within 10-15mins of the park we will be staying at.  Participants are encouraged to bring their own food, beverages, appropriate clothings for all activities, camping tent, sleeping bag, basic camping gear.
 
The touring activities are as follows:  
 
 1.  Friday evening participants will be responsible for making their way to Providence Bay Campgound (5466 551 Highway, Providence Bay, ON P0P 1T0) arriving on their own time between the hours of 5pm-9pm.   Campsites will be reserved by our company ahead of time and ready for participants to pitch their own tents upon arrival.   We will have a social & fire for particiapants if they wish to join inn till approximately 11pm-midnight.
 
2. Saturday morning meet up at 8 am and have a communal breakfasts (bring your own).   Complimentary  coffee & tea will be offered.
 
3.  930-10am leaving Providence Bay Campground and participants will follow in caravan the guide vehicle and make our way to Lake Mindemoya public boat launch located at 10 will-o-wisp way, Mindemoya, ON P0P 1S0.   Participants will park their personal vehicles and assist in off loading kayaks and get their provided rental equipment (IE: life jacket, safety kit, kayak paddle, kayak).   Our guide will give a brief instruction on kayak operation and safety briefing after which time the adventure begins and we set out to explore the shores of nearby TREASURE ISLAND.   We will explore the majestic vistas and scenery and return back to the docks around 1230-1pm and load kayaks and return in the same fashion back to Providence Bay Campgound.   
 
4.  130-3pm is late lunch (bring your own)
 
5.  3pm-6pm  Exploration group kayak & hike from Providence Bay marina along the shores of providence bay to a screnic natural rock beach overlooking lake huron.  Nearby our guide will take you to an eagles nest and other photo opportunities.  
 
6.  6pm  Group tour ends and can have pesonal leisure time.  (enjoy the sand beach and boardwalk the lines providence bay, ice cream at the nearby habour center, or ask our guides for local recommendations for things to do.)  Weather permitting, optional activities: beach volley ball game, swim, lounge, and take inn some rest and relaxation & social time.    Group fire at our campsite 9pm-midnight. 
 
7.  Sunday morning 8am and have a communal breakfasts (bring your own).   Complimentary  coffee & tea will be offered.  Packing time, tents and gear and be ready to clear out and leave the park by 11am.
 
8.  11am we checkout as a group from Providence bay campground and everyone will follow the guide vehicle in caravan to Micheals Bay boat launch area.  Participants will park their vehicles, pack a lunch for the trail and put on their hiking boots on ready to explore.    Our guide will bring everyone up a river system to see wildlife, possibly salmon running in the river, eagles, and cool rapids and small water falls.   After the river walk we will return to the parking area and possibly if time & weather allows (launch kayaks for a short kayak in Micheals Bay.)
 
ALL PARTICIPANTS WILL PROVIDE THEIR RELEASE OF LIABILITY AGREEMENTS & ASSUMPTION OF RISK WAIVER signed and ready to go at this time.  THIS LEGAL PAPERWORK IS REQUIRED BY OUR COMPANY POLICY TO PARTICIPATE IN OUR EVENTS.
